Delete your account
Easton Utilities Commission
Delete it yourself
Sign in to the MyAccount app or website, open Settings, and choose Delete account. You'll see what keeps running on your utility account, then confirm with your password. Your login is deleted right away, and we email you to confirm.
If your login doesn't use a password (you sign in with a passkey or another service), sign in again first — for your security you need to have signed in within the last 10 minutes.
Or ask us
Can't sign in? Contact Easton Utilities customer service at (410) 822-6110 or customerservice@eastonutilities.com. We'll confirm it's you before deleting anything.
What's deleted
- Your login: the email you sign in with and your password.
- Your passkeys and two-step verification.
- The list of utility accounts linked to your login (the accounts themselves aren't closed).
- Your notification settings, text-alert phone numbers, and the devices registered for push notifications.
- Saved cards and bank accounts that nothing still uses.
You're signed out on every device as soon as it's deleted.
What stays
Deleting your login doesn't close your utility account. These belong to the account, not the login, and keep going:
- Your bills, statements and payment history.
- AutoPay and payments you scheduled — they still go through, and the saved cards or bank accounts they use are kept.
- Paperless billing.
- Notices we already sent you.
We also keep payment and security records for as long as we need them for accounting, dispute resolution and legal obligations — see our Privacy Policy. To stop AutoPay or a scheduled payment, do that before you delete your login, or contact us.
You can create a new login any time with your account number.
